My friend Quy over at Thú Vui Dân Dã set up some fishing traps. I was blown away with what we caught!

These traps were left out for a couple days. Three of the traps were set up in small ponds and one was used at the end of a stream connected to the Saigon River. I plan to make a video in the future explaining how to make these traps. We ended up catching shrimp, snails, carbs, catfish, 3 different species of snakes, sucker fish and other smaller fish species. This was such a learning experience for me! It took about 45 minutes to check all the traps. Nearly everything that we caught was used for food. We cooked the bigger snake and a few sucker fish. Hope you guys enjoy the video!
