Vietnam Meets Dustin Local Catfishing Spot! (HCMC, Vietnam)

Local fishing spot in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I woke up insanely early to beat the crowd and wanted to get a little fishing in.

I’ve been living in Vietnam since 2014 and enjoying every bit of it. Trying to learn the ways of a local, one step at a time.

One 3-meter telescopic fishing pole with about 3 meters of line, circle hook, floater, small bead, light lead
2 standard fishing pole with a reel, basic slip rig for catfish.
Bait: Cockroaches, giant night crawlers, earth worms, crickets
Camera: Iphone 7plus with a tripod

Water conditions: Moderate current, high to moderate water level, overall good conditions
Time Fished: 7am to 10am
