This was a new area for me. Often times in Vietnam, new fishing spots can be hit or miss. Regardless, I wanted to try my luck. I've used my umbrella fish trap before, often catching smaller fish and other marine life (link below). Today, was a bit different as I was testing shallow water that's not connected to a river. This can be problematic due to overfishing. I was limited for time as I worked in the afternoon, nevertheless, I had a blast! So much fun!

I’ve been living in Vietnam since 2014 and enjoying every bit of it. Trying to learn the ways of the locals, one step at a time.
